For many years Lead Dog
Spock Kennels has opened their land
to friends and family in need of competent dog care while away on
business or family
vacation. We have had so much pleasure meeting new dogs over the years
and
welcoming them into our kennel that we would like to now extend this
offer to
the general public!
Our home is
located in North Pole,
Alaska
and sits on approximately six acres, two and a
half of which are used solely for our kennel. It is our passion to keep
our
kennel small and as a result we have found that our dog’s living
quarters have
made little impact on the land that surrounds them. Therefore it was an
easy
choice for us to open up just a bit more land for our special canine
visitors.
We treat
all our boarders like family and continue the
tradition of a small kennel with our new arrivals as well. We strive to
keep
our kennel surroundings as natural and pristine as the virgin forest
that existed
when we first arrived. You will not see a large cleared lot or an over
abundance of stake-out posts just for the sake of our boarding
purposes.
Dogs are
sensitive creatures who are well aware of their
surroundings. We know you would like them treated as we treat our own.
Our limited
numbers help keep a balance and harmony to allow your dogs an easy
transition
to a new area and a better peace of mind while you are away.
Since our spaces are limited we tend to fill up fast,
especially in the summer months. Keep this in mind when planning your
out of
town trips and book your pets stay early…
